We work to ensure that the places that feed our communities purchase food that advances a good food system for all. A good food system is: accessible, equitable, racially just, healthy, fair, local, humane, and sustainable.
What we seek to accomplish:
1.
Design a leadership structure that prioritizes the voices of those most impacted by our work
2.
Implement a new, three-year strategic plan with the priorities of implementing the Good Food Purchasing Initiative, ensuring equitable supply chain development, building good food culture and the GFPI ecosystem
3.
Move to a newly-structured coalition model to ensure democratized participation
